At a meeting held on July 21, 2011, the government of the Republic of Croatia passed the Directive (Official Gazette no. 91/11) which has given Ex-Agency the authority to certify management systems.

Based on on the Regulations for equipment and protection systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, "Official Gazette" Republic of Croatia (no. 34/10) and the Regulations of minimum safety requirements and workers' health protection, and technical supervision of plants, equipment, installations and equipment in hazardous areas, "Official Gazette" Republic of Croatia (No. 39/06 and 106/07), Ex-Agency performs the procedure of qualification assessment, which includes evaluation of quality systems for the following activities:

• production of Ex-equipment,
• repair, restoration and reconstruction of Ex-equipment,
• installation of Ex-equipment in hazardous areas and
• maintenance of Ex-equipment and installations.

Since the procedure of qualification assessment for the above activities also involves checking the quality management system, Ex-Agency has acquired vast experience in quality system evaluations and has extended its services to include certification of quality systems (in accordance with ISO 9001:2008). We also perform certification of environmental management systems in accordance with ISO 14001:2004.

In 2012 Ex-Agency plans to introduce certification of health management and safety in the workplace systems, per OHSAS 18001:2007.
